“Hearing About Cats Starving Was The Last Straw”
I found out these cats were living in a home where they were not being cared for. They were not being fed, were skinny and smelly, unaltered and full of fleas. I heard that two cats in that household died. That was enough. So I had to step in. I told the people I would fix the cats and return them. I did not. Instead, I brought the cats to my Rescue. This is their first night at the Rescue. As you can see, they are very skinny, you can see all their kitty bones! The first time I poured full bowls of food, they attacked it like they never saw that much food. They were fighting each other over it. It made me tear up. I promised them then, they would never be hungry again!
These days Merlin, Molly, Wolfie and Oliver are happy kitties at the Rescue. They have since gained lots of weight, been fixed and had their shots. These loves are available for adoption. When we first got them, they would attack the food as though they were never going to see more.
